David Toms - President
David Toms is not only one of the top golfers in the world, he is also committed to giving back to the community. David has been ranked among the Top 10 golfers in the world for the past few years and is 7th in Career Earnings on the PGA Tour. He has 12 PGA Tour wins.
He represented his country in the 2002, 2004, and 2006 Ryder Cup and was the leading point earner for the United States in 2002. He has played for his country on three President's Cup teams in 2003, 2005, and 2007.
David was raised in the Shreveport-Bossier area and that is where he has chosen to raise his family. Even before creating the David Toms Foundation, he has been active in the community. David has a great vision for its future. "If we can help a family get off the street, get a child away from an abusive home or help a child learn life skills, then we are creating hope and making a difference in the community," David said.
Outside of golf, David enjoys hunting, fishing, wakeboarding, watching his son Carter play baseball, and spending time with his wife and daughter, Anna. He is also a passionate fan of LSU athletics.
Sonya Toms
Sonya and David have been married for over 10 years. The Springhill, La. native is a graduate of LSU-Shreveport. She is an active member of the Tour Wives Association which helps several charities throughout the nation. She is also on the board of the Providence House in Shreveport.
At First United Methodist in Shreveport, Sonya is on the Family Ministry Team, attends the Cornerstone Sunday School Class, and is helping with the fundraising campaign.
Her hobbies include exercise and cooking.
Christopher Campbell
Christopher Campbell is a self-employed businessman and real estate investor from Shreveport. Mr. Campbell received his BS in Finance and Real Estate from LSU in 1989. Mr. Campbell has used his background in finance, real estate and commercial banking to successfully conclude many large development projects throughout the United States.
Chris is involved in his community and state through his participation as a board member of the First Baptist Church School, the Norwela Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Friends of the Red River Refuge, and the Nature Conservancy of Louisiana. He resides in Shreveport with his wife, Cathy, and three children, Christopher, Collier, and Caroline. He enjoys spending time with his family, water skiing, snow skiing, and following LSU athletics.
Robert Dunkelman
Robert Dunkelman has been an attorney in private practice in Shreveport for over 15 years. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1980 and earned his B.A. from LSU in 1984. He lives in Shreveport with his wife Katie and kids Drew and Thomas. His hobbies include golf and tennis.
Donna Miciotto
Donna Miciotto is active in the Shreveport community serving on several boards and committees. She is a member of Junior League as well as the Shreveport Medical Auxiliary.
A graduate of First Baptist High School in Shreveport and LSU in Baton Rouge, Donna is married to Dr. Chris Miciotto, an anesthesiologist. They have two children, Madison and Mathew. They are members of St. Joseph's Church. Her hobbies include horseback riding, walking and swimming.
Knox Ridley
Knox Ridley is a Partner at Harbuck & Ridley, an insurance and financial services company in Shreveport. In the community, he serves as Chairman of Providence House, he's on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Golf Association, and Past President of the Shreveport Society of Financial Service. His wife Anne and their children Alison and Knox III are members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The graduate of Ole Miss is also an avid golfer.
Bo Smithwick
Bo Smithwick is the First Vice-President for Merrill Lynch in Shreveport. He is a member of the Advisory Council to Management for Merrill Lynch as well as the Advisory Council to Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
He is a past member of the Southern Trace Board of Governors. His hobbies include golf, duck hunting, fishing, traveling and LSU athletics. He is a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Executive Director, Adam Young
Adam Young was hired as the first Executive Director of the David Toms Foundation on February 3, 2003. His duties include promoting the foundation's mission, organizing donation requests and coordinating fundraising efforts.
Prior to working for the David Toms Foundation, Adam spent six years as the Director of Corporate Communications for SportsCare USA, a healthcare marketing firm based in Shreveport.
A 1995 graduate of LSU, his hobbies include golf, softball, church activities and following LSU athletics. He and his wife Lucy live in Bossier City.
Assistant Executive Director, Erin Carey
Erin Carey was hired as Assistant Executive Director of the David Toms Foundation in August of 2008. Her duties include assisting Adam Young in promoting the foundation's mission, organizing donation requests and coordinating fundraising efforts.
She is currently studying Marketing at LSUS and will graduate in June of 2009. Her hobbies include exercising, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Matthew.
